Nintendo Wii U Release Date & Price!
According to Amazon, Newegg & Blockbuster – the Nintendo Wii U will be released on the 11th of November, 2012. Here at Wii U Updates we knew that the next generation gaming console was going to be released in November but was unaware of the precise release date. To top off this rumour and increase it’s credibility, a third party peripherals manufacturer leaked the exact same release date at GamesCon!
In addition to the release date, some prices were leaked as well. Starting at $249 and going all the way up to $349, i’m assuming the latter figure would include an additional touch-screen controller and some other goodies. All of these details and launch gaming titles will be set in stone on September 13th when Nintendo holds their American press conference. I can’t wait! Looking forward to seeing the SSB Wii U gaming title

If the rumors of pre-ordering starting on September 13th I will be pre-ordering one in black with an extra touch screen controller and a couple games.
This is great news! I can’t wait till they officially come out and say this! Whoop whoop Nintendo Fans!
I think I’ll splurge and go all out for the $349 version, I’ve saved a good $500 for the launch in case of it being way more than I thought.
It comes out on my birthday if the information is correct. Yay!
I hope I can pre-order it. When the Wii launched I couldn’t get to a store till noon and they were out of pre-orders.
I had to wait in line starting around 6pm the night before it launched to get mine. I was 3rd in line though and they weren’t doing any of those stupid lottery things.
Where are all those people who bet me hundreds of dollars that it would cost over $500 while I said there wasn’t a chance of the base model selling for over $300?
Lucky me, I’ve saved up literally about $20,000 the last two years for a car and haven’t gotten the car yet, so I have plenty of money to say the least to get all things Wii U
I actually got to Wal-Mart at 11:45 a.m. on November 18th, 2006, and sat there the whole day (12 hours) to get a Wii. I was first in line and took everyone’s name as they arrived and had a perfect list of who arrived when.
The launch went perfect as I made everyone get in a single file line to receive their Wii according to who came when. If all launches were done this fair, life would be so much better. To everyone who is thinking about camping out and being the first in line, bring a notebook or legal pad and make EVERYONE sign their name and time of arrival.

In holland you can preorder for 500 euros! I think the price will go down, but still.
Yes! now all we need is confirmation on price. Sadly if it stays at 349$ I won’t be getting one for launch day, or christmas ;(. Well September 13th….. 6 more days….We shall wait…
