Nintendo Wii U Press Release

Nintendo Wii U Press Release

Nintendo revealed a massive line up of first- and third-party video games for its upcoming Wii U home console today, including new games in the Super Mario Bros., Pikmin, Wii Fit, Batman: Arkham City, Scribblenauts, Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance franchises. The Wii U console launches this holiday season and introduces the Wii U GamePad, a controller with a 6.2-inch touch screen that redefines how people interact with their games, their entertainment and one another. Video game publishers from around the world, including Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Electronic Arts, SEGA, THQ and NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. are demonstrating how their biggest franchises are being reimagined for Wii U.

In addition to the wide array of established brands shown during the Nintendo All-Access Presentation @ E3 2012, Nintendo also revealed new games like Nintendo Land, a Wii U game set in a virtual theme park with a dozen attractions inspired by fan-favorite Nintendo franchises such as The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong. Just as the motion-controlled games in Wii Sports helped players discover the fun of the Wii console, Nintendo Land brings the promise of the GamePad to life with a range of single-player and multiplayer experiences.

Nintendo Land introduces the entirely new dynamic of asymmetric game play, where the images being displayed on the GamePad are entirely different than what is seen on the TV. Giving the player with the GamePad different information, viewpoints, advantages and objectives creates completely new cooperative and competitive opportunities and enables novice and advanced players to enjoy games together and not be forced to play above or below their skill level.

“The GamePad doesn’t just introduce a new type of game play, it redefines an entire dynamic. With asymmetric game play, multiple experiences are possible in the same game at the same time. That’s transformative,” said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. “While games are the focus of this year’s E3, the Wii U story also includes the enhanced social connections and integrated entertainment experiences created by the GamePad. We’re providing a glimpse of that with the introduction of Miiverse and by revealing partnerships with some of the biggest content providers on the planet.”

Mario will leap onto Wii U in New Super Mario Bros. U, a new side-scrolling adventure that introduces new transformations for Mario and the ability for players to play as their Mii characters. The game also introduces the new Boost Mode, which can be used to add blocks, to help players avoid enemies, enable Mario to discover secrets or allow multiple players working together to perform a speed run in record time.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of a number of original and popular Nintendo franchises, joined the Nintendo All-Access Presentation @ E3 2012 to introduce Pikmin 3, the first original entry in the Pikmin franchise in nearly eight years. The game includes new challenges, new characters and mysterious new Pikmin types. The Wii U GamePad creates new player experiences for the real-time strategy franchise by reinventing the control scheme and challenging players in exciting new ways. Pikmin 3 also takes advantage of the HD capabilities of Wii U to more elaborately depict the rich nature landscapes, various creatures and the lovable Pikmin.

SiNG (working title) is a new interactive musical performance game for Wii U that gets everyone at the party involved in the music. With dozens of popular songs to choose from, everyone from novice singers and dancers to budding stars can join in on the fun. The main performer holds the GamePad while others in the room sing, dance and clap along with the music.

Wii Fit U is a new installment in the Wii Fit series, a brand that has sold more than 40 million units worldwide. The game combines fun and fitness with new exercises and activities, and incorporates the GamePad in unique ways. It’s compatible with the existing Wii Balance Board, and Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus owners can transfer their existing workout data. Nintendo also revealed the Fit Meter, an advanced activity monitor that will be packaged with the game and enables users to track fitness activities throughout the day and upload that data back into Wii Fit U.

In LEGO City: Undercover developed by TT Games and published by Nintendo, players assume the identity of Chase McCain, an undercover detective armed with clever disguises. As players run, drive and even fly through the city, they’ll use the Wii U GamePad as a map, communicator and indispensable crime scanner. This is the first time that the LEGO City play sets have come to life on a gaming platform and it’s exclusively on the Wii U console.

Also exclusive to the Wii U is a new franchise from Ubisoft called ZombiU, which puts players in the middle of London circa 2012 where an outbreak has infected the population, destroying their humanity and turning them into mindless monsters. Ubisoft will also bring the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed III to Wii U, as well as Just Dance 4, a new installment in the Just Dance series.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is supporting Wii U with Batman: Arkham City: Armored Edition, an enhanced version of Batman: Arkham City, which includes new game play that makes distinct use of the unique features of the GamePad. The publisher will also introduce Scribblenauts Unlimited for Wii U, marking the first appearance of the imaginative Scribblenauts series on a home console.

Other Wii U games revealed during the Nintendo All-Access Presentation @ E3 2012 include Mass Effect 3 from Electronic Arts, Darksiders II from THQ, Aliens: Colonial Marines from SEGA, TANK! TANK! TANK! and TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 (working title) from NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc., Trine 2: Director’s Cut from Frozenbyte and Rayman Legends, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, Sports Connection, Rabbids Land and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth from Ubisoft.

Nintendo also revealed details about Miiverse, a new network communication system that lets gamers from around the world share experiences, discuss games and discover new content. Using their personalized Mii characters, players enter Miiverse and see games, applications or entertainment content that either they have interacted with recently, expressed interest in learning more about or that their friends are using or discussing. From here they can challenge their friends to play together, ask a question about a difficult level or discover new elements of their favorite games they never knew existed. After a notable achievement or other share-worthy moment, players can pause their game or application and seamlessly post messages to the Miiverse community. Eventually Wii U owners will be able to join Miiverse from a Nintendo 3DS, PC or any smartphone or Web-capable mobile device.

Nintendo also revealed details about its broader entertainment strategy and the impact that the GamePad will have on how we find, interact with and watch video content. The company is working with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and YouTube to bring video experiences to Wii U that will take advantage of the integrated second-screen experience.

In addition to the 6.2-inch touch screen and dual analog sticks, the Wii U GamePad also includes traditional buttons for gaming and the ability to function as a TV remote. Users can change channels or adjust the sound, whether they are playing games or just watching TV. The GamePad is tied to the console and TV, providing a perfectly integrated experience, no matter how it’s being used. Players can move games from the TV to the GamePad. Different players can enjoy different experiences in the same game, depending on which controller they opt to use.

  1. a pinoy says:

this is so cool i realy cant wait to get my hands on the wii u and its games!!!!!

  2. Mr. P Puchi says:

Brilliant games, brilliant innovation. What more could a real gamer (and casual) ask for? Well, graphics whores will be complaining, but who else cares.
Seeing the Wii U in black too…What one should I have!?

    • The black Wii U looks better in my opinion. The white is the more traditional color though, still undecided which one i’ll be purchasing tbh!

    • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

Actually, the website for the wii u says it has 1080p and 1080i so graphics whores can’t say anything against the wii u

  3. And Nintendo impresses me again ^^

Oooh, it works to comment on my 3DS

  4. a pinoy says:

ZombiU is actualy a reboot of the game Zombi which is the first game ubisoft ever made!!

  5. James Mathers says:

    Looks good, +1

  6. Mr. Know it all says:

Hopefully more games come out… where’s Mario Kart,Zelda,Metroid,Star Fox? All those games everyone was waiting for. They said it was going to be all about the Wii U games. They were correct but they could have informed us we would be very dissapointed. Even diehard Nintendo fans secretly would be sobbing right now… :(

    • RockD79 says:

Actually they didnt announce all the games. Quite strange actually. I saw a tweet earlier from a developer stating that he knew of one game coming to Wii U well before E3 but was shocked it was never announced during the show. Its possible Nintendo will hold a more private press gathering at their headquarters during the summer. Possibly a Nintendo Summit and expect date and price then… and a few more game announcements. I also think were a few hours away from a Black Ops 2 announcement for Wii U. Keep checking your game sites. In the past hour if you Google “Wii U” within an hour search every article seems to be pointing to it. Apparently a 2 page article was found in an European Nintendo Magazine.

      • Maverick-Hunter says:

Of course they are holding back it would be foolish to go in full throttle at the start of a new race/war whatever you want to call it

  7. The press conference was a total disappointment. The showed no games people really cared about. None of the big titles were shown. The systems specs weren’t revealed. No price or release date. They had the chance to blow everybody away, but failed miserably. What were they thinking? I’ll still get it of course, but they had the chance to show off a really cool system with some of the big franchises with great graphics. Nobody cares about lame casual games. At least I know tons of great games are coming out for 360 and ps3.

    • I agree on the lack of information, pretty disappointing as it’s been a year since Nintendo first showcased the Wii U. You would surely think by now the price and release date would be set in stone.

    • IT”S believed that as of being an economic version the price will be around $180-$300 and would be released by around 18th of november

    • nintendosearch says:

Pikmin 3?!?! that not a big title? Mario, must be a title no one cares about as well? and games no one cares about? ._.

      • Pikmin, eh not really interested. Mario? Nice way to bring in a next gen system, with a 2D game. How bout a real Mario game? We would of been happy with a true nintendo flagship game that showed off the new hardware.

        • Maverick-Hunter says:

It’s hardly a next gen system u noob and I call u a noob because wii u is the xbox/ps3 equvilant which is why it uses the same insides

          • RockD79 says:

Hardly next gen? Same insides? I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that. The ram alone is more than double the other two.

          • Maverick-Hunter says:

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s bad but honestly I see like this ps3 links up with move xbox links up with kniect and wii links up with wiiu. It’s the equvilant to the bigger consoles only difference is wiiu > ps3/360 and if you dare say it’s a next gen console again I’ll need someone to slap you because the insides that make up the wii u are pieces that you can find 5-6 years ago just like the ps3/360 all I’m saying is putting the wii u up againts ps4/720 wouldn’t be fair and that’s what im trying to avoid so plz go do some damn research

          • Maverick if you think for one minute that the next PS or Xbox is gonna be leaps and bounds over their predecessors and far superior to the Wii U your in for a rude awakening. Lets start with the price. Sony launched $500 and $600 priced system and failed. Microsoft launched a $400 system and succeeded. Right? So i would assume we’re in agreement on were the price point should land, right? Let’s say $400. Neither company would dare go over it. Lets start with Sony. Sony’s had a bad year. They’re in the red. So we can start with scratching the possibilities of them cramming a super powerful console together and selling it at a loss. No way they’re gonna do that. Right? Microsoft, has money. They could totally build a DX11 with a crap ton of ram for UE4 and sell at a loss. Will they? Who knows. Next, hard drives. We can assume that they will come with at least 700Gb- 1TB HD’s. Right? Maybe more. Again, who knows. Lets say its gonna be around $100 for them. Lets say $60 to $80 if bought in bulk. Next we have blu ray. Sony obviously shouldn’t have to much trouble with this. Think of it as a freebie. Microsoft, probably not an issue either. In this economy things will be different. Nobody can afford it.

          • Maverick-Hunter says:

Dude I’m not voting for either ms/Sony I’m a nintendo fan boy all the way I’m just looking at it logically but yes this is a great system for nintendo (wii u) will totally put the other systems to shame especially with all the 3rd party support infect we are looking at a whole new super nintendo era and thank god cuz I love nintendo :)

          • RockD79 says:

Well logically you heated me up when you made that slap comment. I would assume we are on the same side. The truth is none of the console makers have ever used state of the art stuff besides Sony with the DVD and Blu Ray drives. Thats about it. The CPU’s and GPU’s have always been technically outdated at the launch of every console. Just remember this round will be different as far as raw power is concerned. Sure, the other two may come out the gate with a little bit more horsepower than the Wii U but all three will be comparable next round. Its just not financially possible to expect overboard stuff. In my opinion, Nintendo has the edge due to the leap it came from with the Wii. Think NES to SNES were as the other two might pull off a Dreamcast to PS2 leap. Probably only slight improvements here and there. Maybe that will change by the end of the decade for the following round when hopefully the economy is alive and kicking again. This round however, isn’t gonna be about power but who wins with a unique experience. Nintendo is planning a Summit of sorts in the summer for the 3rd party games. More specifically the ones that haven’t been announced yet. Reggie had already admitted that they wanted to test the reaction of the press on what they showed last week. The feedback from E3 was what Nintendo needed to finalize a few lose ends. More games, price and date…etc. If you think about it thats why Nintendo goes last. Just in case the other two pulled something mind blowing, in which they didn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled the plug on announcement last minute. Why show something when you really don’t need to just yet. Its quite obvious from developers getting drilled with questions that a few NDA’s are still in effect.

      • I had my first nes in 1986, were you even alive then? It is a next gen system, for nintendo. The system does have some pop. I wanted to see a new mario, something to dazzle me like when n64 came out. Something to get fans pumped. Too much kool aid is not good for you.

    • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

Should I remind u of the hardcore games and sequels to the flagship titles that were shown? Assassin’s Creed 3, ZombiU, Batman Arkham Assylum Armored Edition, New Super Mario Bros. U, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Darksiders 2, Trine 2:Directors Cut, Pikmin 3 (though I wont EVER play it, it is part of one if nintendo’s biggest franchises). WHICH ONE OF THESE GAMES IS NOT A BIG TITLE!?!?!?!?

      • Thunderfitz says:

Assassin’s Creed 3 I can buy for Xbox 360 in three months.

All we know of ZombiU was shown in a one minute tech demo. It could be good, or terrible. No indication that it will be a great game.

Batman is out now, and while the Wii U version will have some bonuses, there isn’t enough to warrant another purchase.

I’m done with side scrolling Mario games. It’ll be fun, but I want Mario 64 in HD. I want a first party game in HD.

Colonial Marines… never heard of it.

Darksiders 2 is coming out next month for Xbox 360.

Trine 2 is a puzzle game that I can download on Steam.

Pikmin 3 should be great. It’s the only game that’s a big title.

Where’s Star Fox, 3D Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, Metroid?

Where are the groundbreaking original games like Blast Corps? Nintendo is releasing a snore-fest.

  8. wheres zelda?

  9. Thunderfitz says:

I was really hoping for much better. Pikmin looks good. The Zombie game has potential, but Resident Evil seemed to have more character.

The controller is cool idea, and I’m sure it will work just fine, but honestly, I wanted to see some great games. I’m not just not anticipating anything for this system like I did for the N64 or even a few of the Gamecube/Wii games.

Innovation is great, but you need to blow me away with the best games on the planet to get me excited.

    • Maverick-Hunter says:

Believe me this system blows you away but, not with graphics instead with gameplay. Don’t get me wrong it does graphics too but they dont make it their main thing. Play ninja gaiden dude since nintendo has been the only one to make the ninja gaiden franchise the correct way. Oh and I honestly believe shooters will dominate on this system because I’m sure you all (Sony/ms gamers) are sick of pointing and shooting with a joy stick. Keep inind they are appealig to everyone even the hardcore gamers :) so keep some money on the side I’m not saying buy everygame but it’s defiantly a must get because they will appeal to you too believe it or not.

  10. Nup, hasn’t sold me one bit, not gettin it, totally not interested and no games!

    • Maverick-Hunter says:

I want to argue with you just so you can be put in your place but you didn’t even give enough reason as too why it hasn’t “sold you yet”. And if your a Sony fan boy or an xbox fan boy wake the fuck up you can’t be a hardcore game if you only tasted one flavor.

      • Maverick-Hunter, why must everything be an argument. Buying a new system is a very subjective thing.

I don’t disagree that Nintendo didn’t pull out anything that really had that WOW factor, be it games or applications. The TV control is cool, but by no means any more than an additional bell/whistle.
Nothing that was shown at E3 was really groundbreaking.

Nintendo Land could have turned more heads if they didn’t Mii up the graphics so much. Nothing else really utilized the Wii U gamepad in a manner that shows why last year the Wii U had so much buzz around it.

I wish they would have put more focus on Wario Ware, that series is always pushing the envelope of what can be done with a system.

        • Maverick-Hunter says:

Well I didn’t mean to say agrue I ment debate, and the fact remains nintendo changed how you play the game again and sure enough the competitors are going to copy (smart glass n vita)

I also don’t believe that’s all the games they are working on just the ones that are finished remember games can take much longer than a year to develop especially with a whole new system to use.

As for nintendo land I think it’s awesome that they “mii up” the graphics and I think it’s a great way to interact with people hell a online net work was needed cuz god knows that friend code crap wasn’t working so In my eyes nintendo land > xbox live > playstation network

          • I think it’s the type of language you use, it makes the things you write seem more inflammatory and doesn’t seem conductive to an open dialoge on the subject.

You normally have a lot of great insight into the industry, but that doesn’t change the fact that using expletives and simply telling someone to wake up does not constitue a point of debate. Not being impressed with E3 this year is a valid point, to counter it one could offer examples that you felt “Wowed” you.

  11. I too was disappointed in E3 this year. There is still today left for someone to make an announcement to wow me, but it’s not looking likely.

In all fairness, Nintendo crammed the most into their presentation, but they really did lack that “killer app” as it were. Microsoft and Sony were even more painful to watch as they just showed clips of up coming sequels for over half of their presentations. The only new IP which at least had my attention for a bit was from Sony. Although it was with “Playstation All Stars Battle Royal,” which looks exactly like “Smash Bros.” with Sony IPs.

I just hope Nintendo has more up their sleeves before the Holiday launch of the Wii U, cause at this rate, I will be waiting in an empty line for mine on launch day. (I sure hope that Black version is for sale at launch, I was disappointed in the lack of colors for the Wii when that launched.)

    • Maverick-Hunter says:

Nintendo crammed the most into it because they actually worked on stuff thats fun. While Sony and ms continue with the spamming of point and shoot games, like other than just dance 4 (which makes u look like an idiot on the kniect lol) and god of war 4 I can’t even name another title that wasn’t point n shoot. Well there is madden but meh that’s a sports game I don’t really count those :P .

Personally I’ve had all I can take with shooters it’s not cuz I suck it’s cuz their to bloody easy and there are so many of them seriously there are don’t believe me go separate your game collection into separate game piles.

      • Playstation All-Stars: an example of something from Sony that is not point and shoot, it is also a blatant rip off of Smash Bros., but Sony hasn’t been known for the most innovative ideas when there are other cows to cash.

I too am sick and tired of Dancing games, but some one out there must like them, or they wouldn’t bother making another one.

As for shooters, I would love to see more Wii based shooters, analog sticks are just to imprecise for my tastes. Once you use a mouse or Wii pointer, it’s hard to go back with anything less than frustration.

Just for fun, I did what you asked though and separated out my Wii games into genres.

1 in 7 of my games are FPS. That only includes physical games and omits the insane number of downloadable games I have which would skew that data even further.

        • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

If you think playstation all stars is gonna be good(which I do not see impossible, but quite unlikely because playstation doesn’t hav many good original characters) buy the wii u to get the next super smahs bros. Game. I do not mean buy a frikin $300 wii u JUST for super smash bros. You should get some othr games as well. I do not want a fellow nintendo fan to b disappointed with the possibly shitty game that is playstation all stars battle royalle

  12. Will downloaded games from wii be transferable to wii u? That’s my make or break point. If I have to hold on to my wii to keep my downloads. Which I have over a hundred so I can’t just leave them. Then I see no point in buying wii u.

  13. Stonedoll says:

I think, maybe they’ll going to surprise us at the Wii U launch with there own little gameshow. Could this be right?

  14. When are we seriously gonna know whats powering the wiiu? I’m really curious to see if its a beast.

  15. Stonedoll says:

    It’s a beast dressed like a kitten.

    • smellycat says:

      • I’m really looking for concrete info, not rumors. I also haven’t heard anything about the audio. I hope that it supports digital output, because if it doesn’t, it would be a monumental blunder.

        • Stonedoll says:

It does support headphones, if you mean that?

          • Dolby digital and dts

          • I looked at the spec page, and it seems that the only way to get digital sound is through hdmi, lame. Ps2 and xbox had digital sound connections……10 years ago.

        • Stonedoll says:

Have been at E3.nintendo.com? There you can find a lot of details about the console. Click Wii U at the topbar, and scroll down till you see “Technical Specs”.

          • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

Ikr? Idk wtf all that crap means, other than the 1080p and 1080i (which is nintendo’s way of sticking up a giant middle finger at those graphics’ whores’ faces)

      • Stonedoll says:

That means it’s good right? …. right? Completely the tech-guy over here.

        • Stonedoll says:

          Completely not*

        • Maverick-Hunter says:

it’s good here let me take you on a little history lesson, 5-6 years ago Sony/ms had enough money to buy all the expensive toys and give you the systems we know as ps3/xbox while nintendo wouldn’t fork over the coins for yet another expensive system. So instead nintendo went for innovation and gave the system you know as wii. Which won the war between the 3 sony n ms were noticing this success and said oh oh we can do motion too and introduced the ps move and the xbox kniect i ah e both and honestly for motion i look towards njntendo. Now in present time nintendo beat both the competitors so for celebration they created the wii u which is the equivalent of Sonys ps3 and ms xbox 360. Only difference is they made it practically 50% better than the competitors with the same insides/equvilants Sony/ms had to play with but, on top of all that they made a new way to play games. So what you are looking at here is a late newcomer and not at all a next gen system. And here is why; to play the xbox kniect you need an xbox 360 to play a playstaion move you need a ps3 just how nintendo needs a wii to play the wii u … Oh wait it doesn’t need a wii to play the wii u wow nice … Wtf are you kiddin me I don’t even need a tv to play it now that’s awesome!

  16. Great the Wii u is going to have a great launch titles, look like Nintendo knows what they are doing, please don’t ditch the Wiimote and make sure there is a backward compatibility

    • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

Bro don’t worry. It has been confirmed for a long LONG time that the wii u will hav full backwards compatibility for the wii- even wiiware downloads will somehow be transferred!

  17. Stonedoll says:

Heh…. I’m sick of everyone always wanna have it there way. If you guys so much about AND get in for a low price or even for free, then do yourself. Then I will shut up. Nintendo is already having real though time ‘getting back in the game’ and this isn’t helping. What do want… that the makers of the very first good game consoles to quit and leave it to Sony and Microsoft?

I just can’t believe that there are such a few gamers who actually see potential in what Nintendo is doing and creating. Everybody buzzes them off from the start, because they made a mistake by betting on 3D. That’s just life. Try to be happy with what you get, it’s take it or leave it but don’t spoil it for others.

    • We like that nintendo likes to innovate, but we also would like for them to meet us half way. While the wii sold bunches, besides mario and zelda, the system laid collecting dust in my house. Give gamers what they want. Stop pandering to casual gamers. If nintendo is still around, its because of the core gamers, not people who are into gimmicks.

      • Maverick-Hunter says:

Dude that’s exactly what they are doing (giving stuff to “core gamers”) the only thing is they are also appealing to everyone else so just sit back and watch the hardcore games come out.

        • From all that i’ve seen at E3, nintendo hasn’t shown me anything that implies that they’re catering to the core gamers. All they had to do is show a couple of minutes of any of the big games they are working on to get us salivating. This is probably the worst e3 ever for them. All i’m going on is blind faith with them now. Nothing that they showed has gotten me excited. 360 and ps3 showed plenty of stuff.

          • I disagree that Microsoft or Sony really showed anything that amazing or that much for that matter.

They (MS and Sony) both squandered the majority of their presentations showing excessively long trailers of the two-three games, then stopped talking about games totally! I’m sorry, but I tune into E3 for NEW video games, not for social networking or the other non-gaming exploits they focused on. I may not follow MS or Sony as closely as some, but even I already knew about those games BEFORE E3. Heck GameInformer had a Halo 4 special like a month before E3, and they actually talked more about the game than that clip!

What happened to the E3′s where a New IP or sequel actually were actually announced there? It seems that E3 has just become a bloated excuse to rehash everything that was announced before, but still have yet to be released.

How is AC3 and ninja gaiden 3 not for core gamers?? I’m sure black ops 2 will jump abroad once they make it just for the wii u. just because the nintendo roster doesn’t have 10 thousand point and shot games like the xbox and ps doesn’t mean it’s not for “core gamers”

          • Alpha Kennywoe man says:

ZombiU, Assassin’s Creed 3, Aliens: CM, Batman AA:Armored Edition (I think it’s pretty f*ckin hardcore), Ninja Gaiden 3, Tekken Tournament, Trine 2:DC, Darksiders 2. U say nintendo didn’t say anything about hardcore games? So all these games are mediocre or casual? ZombiU is for casual gamers; for when your 5 year old cousins/nephews or nieces come over?

            *cough* dumass*

They gave me exactly what I want game wise, I was there I got to play on a wii u :) they gave me the same great quality gaming while at the same time making it something different. The wii u is amazing for get togethers 5 player co op and from my understading some games will have 6. Ive played all the resident evil games and after 2 I no longer felt that scared factor while playing the rest, zombiu on the other hand really takes advantage of this dual screen remote by showing me whats going on while simotaniously asking me to do stuff. So if they make games exclusively for the wii u like zombiu they will defiantly bring back core gamers trust me I am one. I also played the vita which felt like an upgraded psp that could let me slash at the screen like my itouch aka fruit ninja (way to step it up …not). And Microsofts smart glass … Damn I’ll just go out and say it they saw it feared it and made their own, I mean yes copying is the greatests compliment but damn c’mon MS what a let down. Okay I’ll stop soon it’s getting to rant mode here but I can’t help it i was at e3 and I got a lot to say. For example the wii u is too awesome to explain you’ll just have to experience it for your self.

Sony’s E3 confernece: Last of us, Oh well , that’s cool, “playstation all-star battle royale” ._.
really now? what did that look like to you ._.
Microsoft’s E3: A Box of Glass? AMAZING ._.*falls asleep*
Nintendo’s E3: Pikmin 3, and nsmb-u well it was the only titles i cared about but not as wow expecting as i imagined :(
so in my opinion, in all three of sony,MS, and nintendo, nintendo came in first, sony for a close second, and MS just dead last.
but overall i think ubisoft won E3 this year

    • While I don’t disagree with your rankings, you did neglect to mention the 15 minutes of Halo 4 that they opened Microsoft’s conference with. Sure there was nothing new there, but those rabbid MS fans didn’t want or need any more than that.

It was a lame E3 all around.

      • Maverick-Hunter says:

Halo 4 woopie another point and shoot game n what’s this nothing new added to it wow great job ms

As for play station all stars …. Some one needs to get sued ASAP lol I mean does copy right laws do anything anymore???

While e3 was pretty boring this year *almost fell asleep during Sonys turn* I don’t disagree with your rankings :)

        • Why would anyone be sued over PSAS? (That name is just too long to keep typing.)

By that logic, we shouldn’t even have Smash Bros., since Sega released Heavyweight Champ back in 1976 and every fighting game since was a rip-off of that.

90% of video games are blatant rip-offs of prior games. It’s a fun idea, that Nintendo capitalized on over a decade ago, but it’s nothing to sue over. I would have rather seen Sony try to make it more unique, but it really was the most unique thing Sony “unveiled” at E3. I use the term “unveiled” loosely since I had heard about it perhaps a month or more before E3.

I wish I could speak with Nintendo myself, to let them know which games should and shouldn’t come to Wii U.

I would mansion some games like Tomb Raider, which I think has a very narrow chance but would be unbelievable important. It would be shame if the developers wouldn’t give it a try, I mean don’t know anything about creating a game or other tech/software stuff but I would know which games could turn the table heavily for Nintendo since they give gamers a choice between controllers (Gamepad or Pro controller). Agree or hate it, I don’t care much since people can’t have enough.

This is boring guys cause there isn’t any news. I love Wii U, I serve it but there isn’t any news to spread. Oh, how i love the Wii U :) :) :) .
