A 12-minute long video teaser has been released for Batman: Arkham City. The release is scheduled to be in stores on the 12th October, 2012 and will be available on multiple gaming platforms. These game platforms include the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and of course – the Nintendo Wii U.

Below is the video teaser for Batman: Arkham City that appears to be played on the Xbox 360 gaming console and not the Nintendo Wii U console.

Amazon have already listed Batman: Arkham City as a Wii U pre-order option.

Nintendo’s executive – Reggis Fils-Aime has stated previously that the Nintendo Wii U won’t be available before April, 2012. Combining this knowledge with the release of the Batman: Arkham City which will be released on all platforms simultaneously, it is safe to say that the Nintendo Wii U will be in-stores between May and September, 2012.

This possibly means the Nintendo Wii U could be in hardcore gamers and casual gamers hands this time next year! Stay tuned for more Wii U news and Wii U updates.
